All staff are aware of the need for total confidentiality with regard to practice matters and are bound by the code of confidentiality. Any violation of this code could result in instant dismissal of the staff member concerned.
All patient records on file or on computer are confidential. In order to maintain confidentiality, laboratory and x-ray results will only be given to patients themselves, their nominated representatives or the parents of minors where appropriate.
